I removed the OEM lp (my backup lp for my RASP) from the circuit because I installed a Walbro pump (now my backup lp for my RASP) managed by a on / off switch in the cab.

I removed the lp connector up on the driver's side engine and now of course get a 0230 code.

I measured the ohms of the OEM lp windings and read 1.2 ohms.

If I made up a lp plug that had a 1.2 ohm resistor across the pins, do you think the 0230 code would still be set?

What size wattage resistor do you think would be correct, or do you think it is primarily resistance the ECM is looking for and a 1 watt resistor would be ok?

Or am I just going to have to live with the 0230 code knowing what is causing it?
