I am toying with the idea of trying to rebuild my ailing 48RE with the 542 dollar suncoast kit. I am talking about going through the tranny myself. I have access to the factory dodge service manual. Is it beyond standard tools like screw drivers and socket/combination wrenches? Do i need special tools? How much do they cost? My 48RE is slipping badly in second gear, but everything else works great. ANy ideas?
