More speeding footage appears on YouTube

Police are investigating a YouTube video that appears to show a driver filming himself charging down a motorway at 125mph.

Even more incredible than the footage of people swerving out of the way of the man hurtling down the M23 in Sussex is that it appears to be in a Vauxhall Cavalier.

The man calls himself ‘paulscav’ and at one point he focuses the camera on his speedometer to reveal his speed.

The BBC reported that the man claims to be 23-years-old.

A Sussex police spokesman said the video will be considered for investigation by the road policing department.

‘It's certainly something we would not agree with,’ he added.

‘If identified, strong consideration will be given to prosecution.

‘It was a stupid thing to do.’
