I finally got all the bugs worked out of my truck. Saved up and put BD twins on and they run great. Well when I put them on I ran it for about a week to two with low boost for break in. So then got it all warmed up and thought I would see what they would do and about the third ran up to 50-55 psi of boost the head gasket blow#@$%! When I put the twins on I retorqued the head studs to 140 ft-lbs.
With that all being said I think my last resort is fire rings. My question is what is everyone using for this? Is there a special gasket? Is one way better then another, and what is the best way to do it? Because I don't want to have this happen again. Thanks
