Does anyone know if the electrical system on the 03-05 3rd Gen trucks is a ground switched system? Like the 01.5-02 2nd Gen trucks.

I have an 02 2500 with the Sport package and I was looking to upgrade to HID head lights. I have the 9007 same as 03-05 trucks & for some the reason the 2nd Gen Sport models throw the tech depts. for a loop
