Pump Timing Question...April 17th, 2007
Quick VE pump timing question: In an 11-29-2002 post by BushWakr (RIP) PB instructs one to "...loosen the injection pump mounting nuts with my "Snap-On SP-144 wrench."". Here's the link if you want to see the post: http://www.turbodieselregister.com/f...ghlight=timing

Here's the question: Exactly what is a Snap-On SP-144 wrench? Is it absolutely mandatory, or is there some other tool or combination of tools that will work?

And finally - how many pump bolts are there and exactly where are they located? I'm pondering setting my timing up a touch now that I've got all the other 'goodies' taken care of.

Thanks in advace for any info!

Mike
