will this p-pump work??

Will this pump work on a 96 12v? Numbers on the pump are 0 402 736 842 7642827147 and PES6P120A120RS7281 , and RQV400...1250PA1060-1K
Im thinking this pump might have came off a none automotive engine. If it will not work can it be made to work?
