Greetings gurus,

My truck has now twice thrown the p0462 code. Went away last time after a dozen start cycles and it is back tonight.

I have been noticing that it seems to run rough at times when the engine is cold. Like a miss when you first start it.

Also have noticed an increase in smoke when accelerating (either from a stop or when moving). No fuel in the oil that I can detect. I change the fuel filter every 12k miles. Use only the filters from Geno's.

No other codes, bone stock truck. Never used a power device. 110K on the clock. Still getting 19-20 MPG highway.

First: can anyone decipher the code for me? P0462: Fuel level sensor 1 low.?

Second, any ideas?
