I broke the freezer door on a RM2553 refrigerator. I tried to glue the hinge end back together but it wont hold, new one on its way for $110.00.

How do I install the door? It is spring loaded so it stays closed. Somehow I need to preload the springs on the hinges so it stays closed. Every time I tried to put the old door on it would spring open. I played with it until it broke again and is beyond repair. Thanks for any help....GH
