My 05 is nothing more than a yard anchor lately. I keep putting transmissions in and as soon as I do it shears them out.
I've decided that when I fix the truck (new tranny should be back in next week) that I am going to trade it off. I drove both a cab/chassis and a 3500, both were 6 speed autos. From a drive standpoint, the 3500 with the 350hp engine was a lot better than the c/c. It obviously rode better (which is secondary) but the power was the biggie.
Also, Dodge is offering a $3500 rebate on the 3500's vs $1000 on the c/c.
Although, the manual says the Aisin carries a 180,000 mile warranty which is HUGE.
Argh. Decisions decions.
