Hi, I am trying to install my FASS on my 2005.

I have dropped the tank, but see no flat surface to drill for the pickup tube.

In the instructions, it appears they have cut away an outer shell of the tank on the top surface. Is that what it requires or, did you cut the hole in the circular flat portion of the tank right by the stock pickup assembly?
