Engine has been behaving just fine, no issues or behavior problems of any kind. I check codes every time I change oil, and I commonly see a P 0500 (VSS) code.
This morning, I attempted to start the engine, and it spins over like crazy but will not fire. I checked codes (the MIL did not come on) and found these:
P 0122 Accelerator Position Sensor (APPS) Signal Voltage Too Low
P 0237 Map Sensor Voltage Too Low
P 0500 No Vehicle Speed Sensor Signal
P 1693 DTC Detected in Companion Module
The 0500 code is one that I see from time to time, and it would have nothing to do with the engine not starting.
The 1693 code indicates that codes were generated in a companion module, such as the ECM or PCM. This code appeared twice, once under ECM and once under PCM codes.
The 0122 code came up under the PCM codes.
The 0237 code came up under the ECM codes.
I'm trying to figure out where the MAP sensor and APPS get their voltage from, as it appears that there is a common voltage supply problem. Anybody know for sure??
On edit: Fuel pressure to the pump is fine. Gauge shows 16 PSI.
